CAREER AND COLLEGE LAUNCH

Mission

As an extension of Brighton Housing Authority’s award winning Applicant Assistance program, Career and College Launch promotes personal growth and economic self-sufficiency for our youth by creating a college-going culture through postsecondary career and college readiness. All applicants receive advising through CCL’s alignment with other community resources.

How do we offer it? 

Schedule a College Mentor Session
Schedule an appointment to meet with the college mentor on select Saturdays. Students can receive guidance through a personal assessment of their life after high school and strategies to maximize individual success.

Million Dollar Club
The Million Dollar Club provides additional customized advising sessions to students who have displayed exceptional effort towards their after high school goals. 

Meet Your Mentor
Vic Davolt’s passion is helping students identify career and educational pathways where they have the best chance of reaching their full potential. His expertise is derived from 30 years of leadership in university admissions, financial aid and scholarships, including 13 years as Director of Admissions at Regis University.

The Career and College Launch Program is proud to have the opportunity to work with supporting partners to assist students in the community with their post-secondary goals, which includes working to identify students that can benefit from CCL services as well as providing scholarship opportunities.
